In 2016, Elita was diagnosed with the III stage ovary cancer. Currently Elita has successfully recovered, her test results are good, and she continues to remain under supervision of the doctors.
Elita says about her motivation to participate in “Climb for Cancer”:
I decided to participate in this climb because I want to prove that life does not end if you are diagnosed with “cancer”. Exactly to the contrary: it may be the beginning of a new, fulfilled and colourful life.
